JBL Oasis
This project was developed as part of a design exploration focused on reimagining everyday products through new meanings and interactions.
The goal was to take an existing product and transform it into something that offers a different experience.
Student Project inspired by:
Designed as a tool, not an experience.
For this project, I selected the JBL CSS-H30, a commercial horn speaker typically used in functional and industrial environments. Its design is highly utilitarian, focused on performance rather than user experience or emotional connection.
I was interested in exploring how a product with a simple form, could be reinterpreted into something more interactive and socially engaging.

Initial exploration
In the first stage of exploration, I decided to take the overall form of a horn speaker and turn it into a ice bucket.
Detail refitment
After defining the overall form, the next step was adding the final details.
CMF and Mockup Exploration
After defining the overall form, the next step was explore materials in real life.
